One area people do seem to appreciate is that we do not just do Cbus but are licensed electricians, security installers and dealers for home cinema and AV products, other assistance, repairs and upgrades can be performed. We can cater for many of their technology and electrical maintenance needs. A particularly popular area we are getting more involved with is improving WiFi reception in large homes. With our WiFi upgrades we try to establish a “roaming network” within the property so that only one network needs to be accessed. The goal of this one network is that it will hand you over to nearest “access point”, as you roam around your home and allow you to maintain a steady and strong connection to the internet our your local network devices.
Connect Power & Cabling is based on the Gold Coast and we have been servicing the area for some 28 years now. Initially starting as Richard Cooke Electrical and then Amplec , we changed the name to Connect Power and Cabling to reflect more the work we were doing at the time. We are often travelling all over the Gold Coast and are in Brisbane nearly weekly now. The main areas where we come across C-Bus are in the areas of Mermaid Beach, Paradise Point – specifically the Sovereign Islands estate, Sanctuary Cove, Hope Island, Paradise Waters, Tallai and other properties in the hinterland. We also have been involved with projects down to Byron Bay and find ourselves often in the Kingscliff area as well.
