We recently did an upgrade of a School lecture theatre. The original equipment was too hard for people to use, especially guest speakers who did not know the current control options. We removed the old equipment and added lighting control via Cbus and AV control via RTI. For the projector we supplied an Infocus 3916 interactive projector which is a beauty. We also added wireless mics and re-powered the speakers with a PA amp for the microphone input and Stereo Audio amp for the front stereo speakers for video presentations.
A new lecturn and desk combination was built to keep all equipment neat and tidy and supply a workspace for teachers and presenters. A custom Audio input plate was supplied and all labelling was done so anyone could walk up the equipment and use it.
All in all, great feedback from the users and staff and a very successful upgrade to their original automated systems.
