Connect Power & Cabling is owned and managed by Richard Cooke, who has been a resident of the Gold Coast since 1983. Richard became an electrical contractor on the Gold Coast in 1987.
As well as specialist in Clipsal C-Bus Home Automation, we can do traditional electrical works as well as data outlets, phone points, home networking, CCTV and alarm systems, intercoms, TV aerials, install plasma and LCD TV’s, distributed Audio systems, home cinema, iphone/ipad/itouch remote controls for your audio equipment plus commercial and lecture theatre AV systems.
We have been 23 years in business on the Gold Coast. Les is our most experianced electrician who has been in the trade for some 42 years. Richard and Les have worked together for the last 32 years. Programming is the specialty of the younger brain belonging to Ben who also is qualified electrician.
We are licensed electrical contractors in Queensland and NSW. We are licensed security installers and consultants in Queensland.
The regular areas we cover are from Brisbane to Byron Bay. We however do not limit ourselves to these areas. We even have been to Japan to design and fit-out a large waterfront restaurant on Yokohama harbour in conjuction with a local Japanese contractor.
Our workshop is located in Southport. We regular service Southport, Ashmore, Paradise Point, Sovereign Islands, Sanctuary Cove, Mermaid Beach, Broadbeach, Mudgeeraba, Worongary and the rest of the Gold Coast Hinterland plus those places in-between. We have also recently completed projects in Tweed Heads and Kingscliff. Remeber, we also do more than just Clipsal Cbus .
